Ministerial Meetings

The 1st Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the OTS held on 28-29 July 2022 in Istanbul with the participation of the heads of relevant agencies and academies of the OTS Member and Observer States.

As the outcome of the 1st OTS Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the OTS, during the period of February – June 2023, the OTS Secretariat and Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye organized several online Working group meetings on following topics: 1) Public Employee Training and Development Activities 2) Talent Management 3) Human Analytics and 4) Digital HR Platforms.
Working Group meetings aim to improve the professional skills of public institutions and strengthen institutional capacities of the OTS countries in providing good management and civil service. At the same time, these new steps help intensify efforts to enable the public sector in Member States to act more synchronized with each other, and to increase the capacity of public personnel.

Furthermore, Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye organized an important international forum on “Human Centered Development” in December 2022. Moreover, a specific workshop dedicated to “e-human/e-insan” was organized in the framework of the forum.

The 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the OTS held on 23 October 2023 in Samarkand, the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the Turkish side suggested the establishment of the Turkic World Human Resources Development Institute under the umbrella of the OTS, which will follow the developments in the field of human resources.

The next 3rd Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the OTS is expected to be held in 2024, in Kazakhstan.
