With the contributions of the other Member States, the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey prepared a special publication devoted to the Fifth Summit of the Turkic Council entitled “Fifth Summit of the Turkic Council: A Raising Actor in Regional Cooperation in Eurasia”.

The said publication which starts with the article of Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, entitled “Turkic Council: A Strong Regional Mechanism to enhance cooperation in Eurasia ", contains articles of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erlan İdrissov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic, Erlan Abdyldaev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Feridun H. Sinirliğioğlu. Furthermore, articles of Prof. Dusen Kaseinov, Secretary General of TURKSOY, Jandos Asanov, Secretary General of TURKPA, Prof. Darkhan Khydyrali, President of the Turkic Academy, Gunay Afandiyeva, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation that are the affiliated institutions of the Turkic Council are also included in the special articles together with the articles of directors of Official Foreign Policy Strategic Research Centers of the Members States.

With this occasion, the areas that the Turkic Council contributed to regional cooperation in last five years as well as its future projects in this direction were taken up from different aspects and were introduced to the public. The steps taken by the Council to strengthen regional stability, prosperity and development are widely examined in this special publication.

The said publication was presented to the Heads of States of the Member States during the Fifth Summit of the Turkic Council held in Astana on 11 September 2015.
