Second meeting of the Council of Elders of Turkic Council was held on 29-30 September in Istanbul. The flag, emblem and logo of Turkic Council, common alphabet, selection of Turkic heritage items for World Heritage List, scientific symposium on the 20th anniversary of independence of Turkic Republics and other issues were discussed during the meeting. The report prepared at the end of the meeting will be submitted to the 1st Summit Meeting of Turkic Council due to take place on 20-21 October 2011 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
