On behalf of the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States and on my own behalf, I extend my warmest congratulations on the thirty-third anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Under the visionary leadership of H.E. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan has implemented sweeping reforms across all sectors, earning widespread recognition for its substantial achievements in politics, economics, education, culture, and sports. The international community has taken note of these accomplishments, which continue to elevate Uzbekistan's standing on the global stage.
A particular source of pride for the entire Turkic world was Uzbekistan’s remarkable 13th place finish among 206 countries at the recent Paris-2024 Summer Olympics. Additionally, the leadership and success of Uzbek youth in International Science Olympiads reflect the nation’s commitment to building the New Uzbekistan.
Since Uzbekistan’s accession to our Organization in 2019, the bonds between Turkic States have grown stronger, and our cooperation has reached new heights. The valuable contributions of the Uzbek leadership to our projects, along with innovative proposals in trade, economy, transport, tourism, and other areas, have further deepened the ties between our brotherly nations.
On this momentous occasion, I once again extend my heartfelt congratulations to the fraternal people and Government of Uzbekistan and wish a future filled with prosperity and peace.
