6th Meeting of the Turkic Council Working Group on Tourism is started with the participation of tour operators from the Member States on 18 January 2016 at Dedeman Hotel in Istanbul. During the two-days meeting, details of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Project, trainings given in the services sector in the Member States by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, joint tourism exhibitions and joint informational tours will be discussed. In addition, the deepening relations between the UN World Tourism Organization and the Turkic Council will be among the issues of the agenda of the meeting.
In continuation of the meeting, a representative of the UNDP Turkey Office will make a presentation about the development projects in the tourism sector in Turkey.
The Meeting is moderated by the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly and coordinated by Project Directors; Pelin Musabay Baki, Yedil Myrzakhanov, Zhyldyz Uzakova, Zamin Aliyev and Farid Damirli.
