7th Meeting of the Working Group on Transport of the Turkic Council was convened in Istanbul.
7th Meeting of the Working Group on Transport of the Turkic Council was convened on 8 July 2015 at the premises of the Secretariat in Istanbul.
 
During the meeting along with the draft of the “Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey on the International Combined Transport of Goods” the parties discussed issues regarding establishing a multi-modal transport infrastructure among the Member States, furthering the relations among the Sister Ports of Baku, Aktau and Samsun, coming up with practical solutions to the problems faced by the forwarders on the ground, and boosting relations between the Turkic Council and the other international organizations specialized in the field of transport.
 
In the course of the meeting Parties also exchanged information on the latest status of their national transports projects along the Central Transport Corridor.
 
Finally, the Turkish side reiterated that it will host the 3rd meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the Turkic Council, along with the 8th meeting of the Working Group on the Development of Transport, in 2015.
