The 9th Meeting of the Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Member and Observer States of the Organization of Turkic States was held on 28 September 2023 in Astana. Organized with the topic of “Turkic States’ Cooperation: Building Bridges in a Turbulent World” the meeting was was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
The opening speeches of the Meeting were by H.E. Yerkin Tukumov, Director of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Amb.Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, and H.E. Aidos Sarym, Member of the Parliament (Majlis) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Meeting contained from the Plenary Session which subject was “Cooperation of the Turkic Countries in an age of distrust: Regional Model Analysis”, and two Panel Sessions relevantly subjects were “The OTS in the Face of Challenges to International and Regional Security” and “Fundamentals of Turkic Cooperation: Economic Projects and Cultural-Humanitarian Partnership”
At the Sessions participants exchanged of views on the mentioned subjects and discussed cooperation areas within the OTS Member and Observer States, as well as boost and strengthen of the cooperation fields.
