Secretary General of Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev chaired the 23rd meeting of the Senior Officials Committee held on 30 September – 1 October 2019 in Istanbul with the participation of senior officials of the Turkic Council Member States as well as Uzbekistan for the first time as the full member of the Turkic Council. 

During the meeting, the Parties discussed the details of the preparations for the Seventh Summit of the Turkic Council, which will take place on 14-15 October in Baku this year. The Parties thoroughly discussed the agenda, decisions and documents to be signed and adopted at the meetings of the Council of Heads of State and the Council of Foreign Ministers; side events to be organized on the margins of the Summit, as well as issues related to economic, political and institutional agenda of the Turkic Council.
