Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Mr. Merey Mukazhan held a meeting with Regional Director for UN Women Europe and Central Asia Ms. Belen Sanz Luque on 27 August 2024 at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

The meeting provided an opportunity to follow up the agreements achieved during the online meeting of the OTS Secretary General Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev with the heads of regional offices of UN agencies held on 12 February 2024.

At the meeting the sides exchanged information regarding their activities and shared on ideas to develop the cooperation between the two international organizations in the field of women empowerment and other vital social agenda items.
