The Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) formally solidified their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on 20 December 2023 in Istanbul.
OTS Secretary General H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev and TİKA President Mr. Serkan Kayalar marked this historic collaboration with their signatures at a ceremony, hosted at the OTS Headquarters.
Both the Secretary General and the President underlined the historical significance of signing such an MoU on the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. They expressed their shared commitment to advancing regional development and contributing to internationally agreed development goals.
Moreover, the Parties emphasized the opportunity this MoU presents to implement joint projects of Turkic development agencies across different regions of the world under the OTS umbrella.
