As part of the International conference “The role of Turkistan in the history of Turkic peoples”, the MFA of Uzbekistan organized a Round Table in cooperation with the OTS Secretariat, Journalism and Mass communication University of Uzbekistan and the Geographical Council of Turkic States with the participation of leading academic historians and political scientists of the Turkic countries on December 5, 2023, in Tashkent.
The main goal of the round table was to develop proposals for the preparation of a “Charter of the Turkic World”, initiated by H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the Astana Summit of the Turkic States in November 2023.
Along with this, the Round Table participants discussed issues of further implementation of the Tabarruk Ziyorat tourism project with updating a list of architectural monuments and places of pilgrimage.
