A workshop on digitalization of customs procedures for Kyrgyzstan Customs employees and launching Green lane for digital TÍR at the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border checkpoint
The Turkic Council and the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the International Road Transport Union (IRU) organized a workshop on digital TÍR for Kyrgyzstan customs employees from June 29 to July 1, 2021 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The workshop was attended by Deputy heads and experts of customs administrations of  Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, officials of the Turkic Council and IRU.  Representatives of the Customs Committee of Kazakhstan also participated the workshop virtually.

During the event, the Parties exchanged experience on digitialization of TÍR and integration to the international system "e-TÍR", and discussed the issues related to joining Kyrgyzstan to the project "digital TÍR" that was launched between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in November 2020.

Delegations also had a field visit to the Uzbek-Kazakh customs and border checkpoint "Yallama", where they familiarised with the implementation of digital transport operations at the border and exchanged experience on risk management at the checkpoint.

Parties also attended the official ceremony of launching Green line for digital TÍR at the checkpoint "Yallama", which will contribute to facilitating transport and transit operations in the region.
