Advisor to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Reşad Gasımov attended the Reception hosted by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB), on the occasion of the Executive Board Meeting of the Union of Lawyer Organizations of the Turkic Speaking and Related Countries (TÜRK-AV) held in Ankara on 9 November 2017 .
In the opening speech of the reception, the Chairman of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB), Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu gave historical background of TURK-AV as well as its important mission, where Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Georgia, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are the founding members.
During the reception, Reshad Gasimov, Advisor to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council came together with the President of the TBB and the Secretary General of TÜRK-AV Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu and provided him information about the activities of the Turkic Council and parties exchanged views on the possibilities of cooperation between the two institutions.
