Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council gave an interview to Kazakhstan’s Khabar agency in the framework of the official visit to Brussels on 18 February 2015. In this interview he evaluated current reforms in various spheres that are being implemented by Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Ambassador Hasanov explained the role of President Nazarbayev in the establishment of the Turkic Council and his invaluable contribution to the Turkic World. Hasanov also underlined the importance of the proposal of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan to carry out early presidential elections and stated that only Kazakhstani people will decide the fate of their country.
