Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council attended the opening session of the 2nd Meeting of the International Network for the UNESCO Silk Road Online Platform, on 9 June 2016 in Valencia, of which the Turkic Council is one of the main sponsors.
High Level Representatives of UNESCO, Valencia-Silk City for 2016 and the relevant authorities of the Kingdom of Spain addressed the participants at the opening session. Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Madrid, Anar Maharramov was also among the esteemed participants of the said session.
The meeting will take four days where the projects that serve to the revival of the traditional Silk Road will be discussed in detail.
Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Yedil Myrzakhanov, Farid Damirli and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul, Representative of Sheki Governorship from the Republic of Azerbaijan Sarkhan Musayev accompany Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
