Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of Turkic Council participated to the Annual Turkish & US Flag-raising Ceremony at Wall Street’s historic Bowling Green Park in New York City that marks the Turkish Day Festival.
Secretary General Hasanov and Mr. Ertan Yalcin, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in New York City raised the flags of Republic of Turkey and Turkic Council together at the Ceremony. Following the ceremony, Secretary General Hasanov delivered a speech to the audiences.
In his speech, Secretary General Hasanov, emphasized that the waiving of the Turkic Council’s flag in Wall Street together with the Turkish Flag is a great honour for the Council as this street symbolizes the economic power and mentioned that the Turkic world can make a significant contribution to global economy due to their economic potential.
Following the speeches, Turkish Army Forces "Mehteran Band" performed a mini concert for the participants.
Turkic Council Project Director Zamin Aliyev and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied to Secretary General Hasanov during the ceremony.
