On the margins of his official visit to Madrid, Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, during his participation in the House of Asia even on 21 January 2016, had bilateral meetings with Secretary of State of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Ignacio Ybanez and Director General of House of Asia, Mr. Ramon Maria Moreno.
In the meetings, Secretary General informed them on the activities, mission and vision of the Turkic Council.
All sides agreed on the necessity to increase cooperation with regard to raising awareness on the Silk Road in Europe. Furthermore, they had mutual understanding for the organization of joint events by the Turkic Council and House of Asia in Spain with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Spain during the Kazakh Chairmanship of the Turkic Council. In this regard, all sides appointed a contact point for the preparations of upcoming joint events.
Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov in these meetings.
