Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, participated at the Plenary Session "Challenges and Prospects of the 21st Century Economy” of the Kyiv International Economic Forum on 6 October 2016.
 
The opening remarks of the Forum was made by H.E. Volodymyr Goysman, Prime Minister of Ukraine and then H.E. Stepan Kubiv First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Mr. Viktor Halasiuk Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Christian Danielsson Director General of the Enlargement at the European Commission and Mr. Paul Macmillan Strategy and Operations Consulting Leader Delloitte Canada addressed the said Panel Session.
 
The main mission of the Forum that takes place on 6-7 October 2016 in Kyiv are:
 
  • Form a common vision on the ways of Ukraine’s modernization and get the message across to the government; Develop a common vision on modernization ways of Ukraine’s economy;
  • Formulate the strategy for economic reformation of Ukraine;
  • Build a team of like-minded people: businessmen, officials and professionals who will contribute to the enhancement of Ukraine’s reformation strategy and will promote its implementation;
  • Create an encouraging environment for a productive dialogue between business, government and professional community about new sources of economic growth;
  • Engage key players in an effective dialogue and consolidate all the parties interested in the implementation of a new economic growth strategy.
 
During the plenary session Secretary General Hasanov had opportunity to exchange views in several issues with the participants.
