Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, who is paying an official visit to Kyrgyz Republic participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Memorial Complex `Ata Beyit` upon the invitation of H.E. Almazbek Atambaev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic on 2 September 2016.

The ceremony started with the speech of H.E. Almazbek Atambaev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic and participated by Chinibay Tursunbekov, the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, A.Tokobaeva, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Representatives of the International Organizations, Ambassadors accredited to Kyrgyz Republic and as well as the public.

Concerning the 100th Anniversary of the tragic events of 1916, The National Historical and Memorial Complex of Ata-Beyit is dedicated to those who lost their lives for the independence and freedom during the tragic events of 1916. The new image of the complex has been an outcome of a competition which is decided by a commission consisting of sculptors, architects and public figures. The Complex is composed of a central monument and bas-reliefs explaining the will of the people for fair and bright future.

Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council was accompanied by Emre Yurdakul, Chief of Protocol of the Turkic Council.
