On the margins of his official visit to Berlin to attend the 8th UNWTO Meeting of Silk Road Tourism Ministers, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov made a courtesy visit to Mr. Ramin Hasanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Federal Republic of Germany on 6 March 2018.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov briefed Ambassador Ramin Hasanov about the activities of the Turkic Council in a wide range of areas from economy, transport, customs, alternative energy, ICT to education, culture, youth and sports as well as tourism. In this regard, he touched upon the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package project, the first round of which will be held on March 2018 and will shortly be sold at http://www.modernsilkroadtour.com/. Secretary General also gave information about the advanced relations of the Turkic Council with the international organizations such as UNDP, UNOSSC, UNWTO, UNAOC, OSCE, OIC, ASEAN and ECO.
Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Federal Republic of Germany Ramin Hasanov thanked the Secretary General Hasanov for his visit and expressed appreciation for the projects and succesful work carried out by the Turkic Council in various fields. Ambassador Ramin Hasanov also underlined that they are ready to contribute to the promotion of the Joint Tour Package in Germany.
Secretary General Hasanov presented Ambassador Ramin Hasanov with a file containing the annual report and printed publications of the Turkic Council.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied Acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov during the meeting.
