At the opening ceremony, the participants highly commended the efforts of the OTS in conducting experience-sharing projects and programs for business communities of the Member states and highlighted that the opening of the Furniture Export Center took place in particular as a result of the visit of Uzbek delegation comprised of Uzbekistan Exporters' Association (UEA) members and furniture industry representatives to Türkiye for the period of 22-28 February 2021.

In the framework of the above-referred visit, field tours to Masko Furniture City, Gebze Organized Industrial Zone and furniture companies in several cities of Türkiye had been conducted, where the delegation familiarized with the best practices and experience of the institutions, as well as exchanged views on strengthening business ties through mutually beneficial partnership activities.
