FOR THE TURKIC COUNCIL SECOND INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CAMP STARTED
 
TURKIC COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CAMP-TURKEY
“COMMON CULTURE, COMMON FUTURE AND YOUNG LEADERS”
 
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, in collaboration with the Turkic Council, is organizing the Turkic Council Second International Youth Camp under the theme of “Common Culture, Common Future and Young Leaders” on 25-31 July 2016 and 02-08 August 2016 in Samsun, Turkey. The aim of the camp is to contribute to the personal development of the future young leaders, to promote socialization among the youth sharing the same history and culture, to strengthen ties of friendship and fraternity among the youngsters and societies, as well as to create a brighter future with youth having increased sense of awareness towards the social problems.
 
A group of some 300 youth from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are expected to attend the camps.
 
The participation in the camps is free of charge. The Ministry of Youth and Sports will cover the expenses regarding the bus transportation (from the city of origin to Samsun, for the participants from within Turkey), food, accommodation and other expenses concerning the camp activities.
 
PLACE AND DATE
Place: Samsun 19 Mayıs Youth Camp, Turkey
Date: 25-31 July 2016 (Men) and 02-08 August 2016 (Girls).
 
Application Requirements:
• Being of age between 18-25;
• A good command of English language in order to have an efficient communication;
• A good knowledge of history, culture and values, as well as of social, economic and political structures of the home country in order to be able to participate in the debates while presenting his/her own country;
• Being actively involved in the socially-beneficial services and the youth activities;
• Being prone to effective communication and dialogue, as well as cooperation and team work with others;
• Being eager to develop friendly relations among the youngsters and the states.
 
Applicants who wish to participate in the foregoing camp are expected to duly fill in and send the application form to the following e-mail addresses: info@turkkon.org and
genclikcalismalari@gsb.gov.tr, no later than the end of the working day of 10 June 2016.
