Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov held a press conference regarding the Presidential elections in Kyrgyz Republic on 15 October 2017.
As the Head of the Turkic Council International Observer Mission Secretary General Hasanov informed press members about the activities of the International Observer Mission of the Turkic Council in two groups in Bishkek and Osh, about their observations in the electoral districts regarding participation in elections, election security and similar issues, and answered to the questions of the journalists.
Secretary General Hasanov stated that the voting process is still ongoing and that the election observation mission continues its activities in this framework. After the end of the voting process, the election observation mission will also participate in the ballot counts in various polls and the evaluation of the election results will be held at a separate press conference on 16 October 2017.
Turkic Council Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the press conference.
