The ceremony of İsmail Gaspıralı Bey Journalism and Human Rights Awards was organized by Bartın Province Journalists Association and International Journalism Association for Turkic-Speaking Countries on 1 November 2014 in Bartın - Turkey. Mr. Adahan Madumarov, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council and Project Director Mr. Zamin Aliyev participated in the Award Ceremony.
Mr. Madumarov delivered a speech and mentioned the importance of ideas of İsmail Gaspıralı for the intellectual development of the Turkic World. He also gave information about the activities of the Turkic Council in the field of cultural cooperation. He concluded by thanking the organizers of this important event.
After the speeches the awards were given to respective people, institutions and organizations. Near East University of TRNC received its Special Jury Award from Mr. Madumarov.
