Expressing the appreciation for the visit of the H.E. Bakirova, Deputy Secretary General provided information about the activities of the Turkic Council carried out in various fields, particularly in economy, ICT, education, media as well as the future perspectives of the Organization.
Chairperson of the Supreme Court Bakirova underlined the significant achievements of the Turkic Council and wished to the management and the staff of the Secretariat every success in the future endeavors of the Organization.
Parties exchanged views on possible ways of cooperation between the two institutions, particularly sharing of experience in the judicial and legal spheres among the Member States.
The Chairperson also stated that during the bilateral meeting held with the President of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Mehmet Akarça, the initiative to establish a Council of Chairmen of Supreme Courts of Turkic Speaking States was discussed in detail. She indicated that, this proposal made by the Kyrgyz side, was supported by the President of the Court of Cassation Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Mr. Ramiz Rzayev.
Parties exchanged views on regional and international affairs of mutual interest.
