The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Baghdad Amreyev, sent a congratulatory letter to Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the First President of Kazakhstan and Honorary Chairman of the Organization of Turkic States, on the occasion of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I sincerely congratulate you and all the people of Kazakhstan on the Day of the First President - December 1!
Your name is inextricably linked to the unity and identity established in Kazakhstan as the new direction you set on the path to a renewed formation of the national consciousness and identity of the Kazakh people.
As a wise and united global personality, you have, through your new approaches and strategies, responded in a timely and effective manner to the most pressing issues and have laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan, which has become a symbol of stability and peace in the region and the world at large. 
Apart from those, the world community recognises you as the leader of the Turkic world, who has given impetus to this partnership by establishing the Organisation of Turkic States, which are actively working to change the historical path of the Turkic peoples and to take relations to a new level, especially between Turkic countries.
