As Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), I express my heartfelt congratulations to Türkiye on the occasion of launching Türkiye's 1st indigenous high-resolution Earth observation satellite, called the IMECE, into space early this morning.
The satellite which was designed, produced, assembled, integrated, and tested by Türkiye with national sources marks an important turning point in achieving advanced technology in this field.
I believe, this important achievement made by Türkiye, will carry forward the ongoing cooperation in the sphere of space technologies between the OTS Member States in the upcoming period.
