On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on behalf of the Organization of Turkic States and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of brotherly Uzbekistan.
Today, Uzbekistan is moving towards a new era in its statehood history with its decisive steps, making great strides in social and economic development and achieving significant successes in ensuring the welfare of its people.
The reforms in the domestic and foreign policy of the country and the initiatives promoted by the Leadership of Uzbekistan today are activating the cooperation processes in Central Asia and the Turkic region in a new spirit.
During the current period of Uzbekistan's very successful chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States, the concept and roadmap of the chairmanship have been adopted, the main directions of cooperation have been identified, and effective and timely implementation of important projects and programs has been promoted.
We firmly believe that Uzbekistan will continue to contribute to the comprehensive strengthening of relations among Turkic States in the spirit of deep-rooted brotherhood, good neighborliness, mutual respect and solidarity.
On this historic day, I wish the Leadership of Uzbekistan and the brotherly Uzbek people a prosperous future.
