His outstanding role in the modern world, as a prominent politician and astute leader, certainly deserves worldwide acknowledgment. Nursultan Nazarbayev is a wise guide for the Kazakh people, as well as an initiator for many integration entities around the world. Being considered as the architect of integration processes, he has opened a new page in the relations of traditional friendship ties and multilateral cooperation both in the countries of the Central Asian region and in the Turkic world.
Elbasy’s contribution to the formation and development of the Turkic Council is exclusive. The whole Turkic world recognizes him as its leader and highly appreciates his initiatives towards uniting the Turkic peoples, preserving the common heritage, strengthening their identity and promoting its integration.
His Excellency has repeatedly noted the importance of deepening economic and trade relations among the member states of the Turkic Council. The concept of integration of Turkic-speaking states, the creation of an economic integration fund, the collaboration of affiliated organizations within the structure of the Turkic Council and many other important projects in the history of the Organization are among his particular initiatives.
Today, the Turkic Council is working on the program “Turkic Vision - 2040” initiated by Elbasy, which will reflect the long-term goals of the Turkic world and the ways to achieve them, which will give a significant impetus to strengthening cooperation in priority areas for Turkic-speaking states.
We express our deep hope that, as the Honorary Chairman of the Turkic Council, Elbasy Nazarbayev will continue to make his invaluable contributions to the strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Turkic States and will remain to take an active part in the development and prosperity of our common family.
