Today marks the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s declaration of its Independence. On this very occasion, on behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own, I cordially congratulate the Republic ofTurkmenistan and brotherly Turkmen people.

I would like to express our pleasure to witness the steady and firm progress of Turkmenistan in the state building, national economy and social life. We are also glad for the significant progress in the development of relations of Turkmenistan with the Turkic World. I am confident that by enhancing thejoint efforts, Turkic Speaking States will be able to move ahead their bilateral and multilateral cooperation to a more thriving level. 

Taking this opportunity, I once again convey my best wishes to Turkmenistan and its brotherly people.
