Today our host country and current term chair of our Organization, the Republic of Türkiye celebrates the 99th Anniversary of its Foundation.
On this remarkable occasion, it gives me immense pleasure to convey my heartfelt felicitations to the Turkish Government and the brotherly Turkish people.
With its growing economy, strong democracy, and commitment to fundamental human values, as well as righteous and visionary foreign policy, Türkiye continues to be a source of pride for the Turkic States and an inspiration for many nations around the world.
Built on the main principle of “Peace at Home, Peace in the World” as quoted by its Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Türkiye by ensuring peace and security in its region and beyond, has a well-deserved key position in the international political arena.
Moreover, our host country has commissioned the grounds for revitalizing common legacy of the Turkic States, reinforced the values rooting from our historical heritage, and by all means continued to contribute to the institutionalized cooperation within the Turkic world.
As Türkiye prepares to hand over the Chairmanship, which it carried out with great success since last November, to Uzbekistan next month, we would like to present our gratitude to all the Ministries, public and private sector institutions of Türkiye, especially the Honorable President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for the unceasing support throughout this fruitful period, which led to concrete accomplishments and carried the Organization into a new era of progress.
With these feelings and thoughts, while I respectfully commemorate the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, I wish peace and prosperity to the brotherly Turkish people.
