The proclamation of the Republic has opened a new chapter in the direction of progress for Turkey. With its growing economy, strong democracy, and commitment to fundamental human values, as well as righteous and visionary foreign policy, Turkey has continued to be a source of inspiration for many nations all over world.
Built on the main principle of “Peace at Home, Peace in the World” as quoted by its Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Republic of Turkey has gained a key place in the international political arena by ensuring peace and security in its region and beyond.
Providing its continuous support and assistance to the activities of the Turkic Council, Turkey, as our host country presented once again its generosity and honored the Organization by allocating a new premises, at the historical heart of its centuries-old city, Istanbul.
With the valuable support and power it receives from Member States the Turkic Council will continue to work in pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous future of the Turkic World, and undertake concomitant efforts worthwhile both for its region and worldwide.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to congratulate once again the Republic Day of Turkey and wish peace and prosperity to the brotherly Turkish people.
