Coordination Meeting of Deputy Permanent Representatives of the Turkic Council Member States to the UN was hosted on 29 March 2016 in New York by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan representing the Turkic Council’s Chairmanship.
During the meeting, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly informed the audience of the increasing relations of the Turkic Council with the UN Specialized Agencies and Bodies in detail. Welcoming the developments on the subject matter, Deputy Permanent Representatives reiterated the Member States’ commitment to work together for
the Turkic Council’s bid to gain observer status at the UN General Assembly.
Pelin Musabay Baki, Project Director of the Turkic Council, accompanied Deputy Secretary General Saparbekuly at the meeting coordinated by the Secretariat.
