Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly and Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki had a meeting with UNDP Country Office representatives on 24 June 2016 in Almaty on the margins of the conference entitled "Employment, Trade and Sustainable Development in Central Asia" organized by the UNDP in technical cooperation with ILO, EBRD and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
The meeting was arranged by the UNDP Istanbul Hub in the framework of the implementation of the MoU recently signed between the UNDP and the Turkic Council. Accordingly, a representative of the UNDP Istanbul Hub was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the possible developmental projects to be carried out to the benefit of the region were taken up. In this regard, the parties reiterated their readiness to work on a developmental project together at the earliest convenience.
