Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly had a meeting with high level officials of UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) on 29 March 2016 in New York.
Chief of Cabinet and Spokesperson for the High Representative Nihal Saad, Senior Advisor, Humanitarian Affairs and Civil Society Hanifa D. Mezoui, Director Matthew Hodes and Programme Coordinator Alessandro Girola attended the meeting from UNAOC side.
The possible areas of cooperation between the Turkic Council and UNAOC were discussed at the meeting. The discussions will continue on the margins of the 7th Global Forum of the UNAOC to be held at the end of April 2016.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Pelin Musabay Baki accompanied to the Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly at the meeting.
