Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly participated at the opening ceremony of the scientific restoration of «Мәңгітас» (“Eternal stone”) organized by the International Turkic Academy on 3 December 2015 in Astana within the 6th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA).
Following the opening ceremony Deputy Secretary General attended International Conference “Statehood and Parliamentarism in the Great Steppe” organized by the International Turkic Academy. At the Conference Speakers of the Parliaments of the Member States and academicians informed about the history of the parliamentarism, and reiterated the importance of parliaments in the life of the member states.
