Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the ‘19th Eurasia Economic Summit’ organized by the Marmara Group Startegic and Social Research Foundation.
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the ‘19th Eurasia Economic Summit’ organized by the Marmara Group Startegic and Social Research Foundation between 5-7 April 2016 in Istanbul.

The opening speech of the session entitled ‘Silk Road: Energy and Climate Change’ was made by the Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communications of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Binali Yıldırım. At the same session Deputy Secretary General Saparbekuly addressed to the participants and informed them about the following issues; renewable energy resources and the startegies as well as the projects of the Turkic Council member countries in this context, climate change and the current ecological situation of Aral Sea, the role of Turkic Council member countries in the revival of the Silk Road and the activities carried out by the Turkic Council especially in the field of transport.
