Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly and Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki participated in the Conference entitled "Employment, Trade and Sustainable Development in Central Asia" organized by the UNDP in technical cooperation with ILO, EBRD and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland on 23 June 2016 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The event constitutes the third round of the series of conferences that specifically focus on the employment issue. In the conference attended by the experts from 15 regional and partner countries as well as officials from the international organizations including UNCTAD the ways and means to generate sustainable, green and decent jobs in Central Asian States were discussed in detail. The conference will continue tomorrow taking up the issues of labor mobility, migration for economic growth and women in employment.
