Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the Plenary Meeting of the Midterm Review of the Istanbul Programme of Action for Least Developed Countries
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the Plenary Meeting of the Midterm Review of the Istanbul Programme of Action for Least Developed Countries on 27 May 2016 in Antalya hosted by the Republic of Turkey.

In the opening session of the Plenary Meeting, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey welcomed the high level guests of the meeting and expressed the steps to be taken for the full implementation of the Istanbul Programme which serves as a road map for the sustainable development for the least developed countries.

Afterwards, Deputy Secretary General Saparbekuly attended the official lunch hosted by Minister Çavuşoğlu in honour of the heads of the delegations participating in the meeting.

Project Director of the Turkic Council Pelin Musabay Baki accompanied Deputy Secretary General during the comprehensive event and participated in the side events organized on its margin.
