Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly participates in the international archaeological expedition organized by with the leadership of International Turkic Academy
The Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly participates in the international archaeological expedition organized by with the leadership of International Turkic Academy together with the National Academy of Sciences of Mongolia entitled "Historical Treasures of the Great Steppe Nomads: From Tengri Mountain to Otuken”.

International delegation consists of historians, academicians, archaeologists, journalists from the Turkic world (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan Republics of Russian Federation – Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Tuva) and representatives of institutions such as TIKA and Presidency for Turks Abroad and Relative Communities.

Deputy Secretary General Saparbekuly attended to the meetings organized with the National Academy of Sciences of Mongolia on 22 August 2016 where he made a speech and informed the participants about the activities of the Turkic Council as well as its related institutions Turkic Academy, Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, TURKSOY and TURKPA.

During the evet, Mongolia`s leading scientist Prof. Şagdarin Bira was honored with the Gold Medal of the Turkic Academy. In addition, the Deputy Chairman of the National Academy of Sciences of Mongolia, Mr. Dugerin Regdel was presented with the honorary gift of the Turkic Council for their successful scientific and historical studies which serve to develop relations in the Turkic world.

The visit of the delegation will continue until 26 August 2016.
