Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman accompanied by the Project Director Farid Damirli met with Matsuoki Hideaki, Senior Representative Officer of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on 19 April 2017 in Ankara.
Parties discussed activities of their organizations and ways for implementing projects that will be beneficial to all parties.
Parties also elaborated signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering areas of cooperation in order to strengthen relations between JICA and Turkic Council.
Furthermore, Turkic Council in collaboration with relevant ministries will devise prospective projects with the possible participation of JICA.
