Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman participated in the Meeting entitled `Rise of Silk Road and the Turkic World` organized by Turkish Hearths Headquarters on 3 March 2016 in Ankara.

Deputy Secretary General delivered a speech during the Meeting and gave information to the participants especially regarding the activities of the Turkic Council in the fields of transport, customs and Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package.

The Organization of Turkic States was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization. Its primary objective is to foster comprehensive cooperation among Turkic States.
