Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly attended 6th Plenary Session of the TurkPA on 4 December 2015 in Astana. Plenary Session started by the welcome address of the Chairman of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Kabibulla Jakupov. The Session followed by the speeches of the Chairman of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ogtay Asadov, Chairman of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Asilbek Jeenbekov and Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mr. Ismail Kahraman.

Abzal Saparbekuly gave a speech alongside with the other guests. In his speech Deputy Secretary General informed on the recent 5th Summit of the Heads of State of the Turkic Council held on 11 September 2015 in Astana, decisions adopted at the Summit and activites carried out by the Turkic Council.

Then reports and recommendations of the Commissions of the TurkPA were adopted and Chairs and Deputy Chairs of the Commissions were approved.

At the the end of the 6th Plenary Session Astana Declaration was adopted.
