Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman addressed the Panel Session "International cooperation: Ukraine-Asia" and participated to the work of the Kyiv International Economic Forum on 7 October 2016.
The Panel moderated by Mr. Gennadiy Chizhikov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine was honoured by the addresses of Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Vice-President of one of China`s leading construction and investment companies "Anhui Foreign Economic Construction", Angel Investor and Mentor to Chinaccelerator and President of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Main topic of the Panel was connection of Ukraine to the Silk Road projects and investment opportunities in the Ukraine. Also the examples of the Turkish experience in penetrating the Asian markets, example of China`s infrastructural projects, as well as comparative advantage of Ukraine in developing trade with Asian countries were discussed.
Deputy Secretary General at the session was accompanied by Project Director of the Turkic Council Secretariat Mr. Assan Mazhitov.
