Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman attended the plenary session of the Kazakhstan-Turkey Business and Investment forum held in Chimkent on 1 February 2017 by the invitation of the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan Region. More than 200 businessmen of Kazakhstan and Turkey representing various spheres of the economy participated at the Forum.
Deputy Secretary General gave a speech at the Forum where he informed the participants about the ongoing activities of the Turkic Council on economic sphere, including the meetings of ministers in charge of economy and working group, business forums, round tables, technical visits of the businessmen and business portal, and invited the businessmen to participate at the future activities to be carried by the Turkic Council.
In the evening official Gala Dinner was hosted by the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan Region in honour of the Forum participants.
