Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman participated and delivered a speech in the panel session entitled ‘Regional Crossroads: Bringing Caspian Basin gas to world markets’ organized within the framework of the 23rd World Energy Congress on 11 October 2016 in Istanbul.
During the Panel which was moderated by Tatiana Mitrova, Research Scholar, Center on Global Energy Policy of Columbia University, the Southern Gas Corridor Project was discussed in detail by the panelists.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman was among the panelists of the session and informed the participants about the activities and projects of the Turkic Council in the fields of energy and transport as well as the cooperation potential of the countries in the region in respective fields.
