Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman, the Head of the Turkic Council Election Observer Mission, was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldayev.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary General Kocaman informed the Minister about activities carried out by the Mission in the city of Bishkek since the launch of the Mission. Stressing on the position of the Mission, he reiterated that Referendum was conducted in an open, transparent and professional way in compliance with the national legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and generally accepted standards of democratic elections. In his closing remarks, Deputy Secretary General Kocaman wished for the Kyrgyz people and Kyrgyz Republic success following the Referendum period.
