Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the 5th Meeting of the National Commissions and Committees for UNESCO of TURKSOY member states organized in Baku on 18 December 2014.
The meeting aims at exploring the possibilities of cooperation of Turkic-speaking countries in UNESCO, implementing various projects, discussing necessary issues such as inclusion of joint nominations into relevant lists of UNESCO and strengthening the relations between the countries.
Deputy Secretary General Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly delivered a speech during the Meeting, informing the participants of the ongoing activities of the Turkic Council in this context.
Participants of the Meeting visited tomb of Azerbaijan`s National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Alley of Martyrs.
