The Deputy Secretary Generals of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly and Dr.Ömer Kocaman, accompanied by Project Directors Assan Mazhitov and Pelin Musabay, participated as speakers in the "Conference on Cooperation of the Turkic World in 21st Century" organized by Centre of Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on 14 March 2016 in Ankara.
Among the speakers of the Conference were ambassadors, academicians and diplomats who have been working on the ways and means to increase cooperation along the traditional Silk Road. In his address, Deputy Secretary General Saparbekuly focused on the political and economic aspects of the cooperation within the Turkic Council. Deputy Secretary General Dr. Kocaman, in his speech, informed the audience of the projects of the Turkic Council on the areas of education, culture and sciences.
