Dr. Taleh Ziyadov , Director-General of "Baku International Sea Trade Port" CJSC,  in his  lecture on 14 May 2019, talked  about  transport and logistics capabilities of Azerbaijan, which has important geostrategic position in Eurasia, as well as the important role of the Port of Baku in the initiative of "One Belt, One Road".

İn addition, Director-General emphasized the freight forwarding from China to Europe and the opposite direction through the new Port of Baku. The new Port of Baku intends to play an important role in transmitting cargoes not only from China to Europe as the shortest and safest way, but also the region's prominent hub.

Junior Diplomats also participated in Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani language courses, and later visited Shirvanshah Palace, medieval Caravenserais and Maiden Tower in Old City. 

Then a dinner reception was hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, H.E.Mr. Erkan Özoral in honour of the lecturers and the participants of the Turkic Council’s  6th Junior Training Program.
